Development Engineer, Oxfordshire An exciting design and development opportunity within a supplier to the Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) market We are currently seeking a highly motivated and proactive Development Engineer with practical knowledge in the design, use, and application of electric machines or similar components. Based in Abingdon, you will call upon your proven engineering skills and ability for design and development to provide solutions that will keep our client’s firm at the forefront of electric motor technology for many years to come. As Development Engineer you will have a sound knowledge of engineering principles and materials, and an ability to apply your experience creatively in the development of world leading innovative products. Our client designs, develops, and manufactures a range of highly efficient, high performance electric motors for the latest generation of Electric Powered and Hybrid (HEV) road and track cars and bikes. Already established within major Automotive OEMs their long term vision is to supply major OEMs in the Automotive, Industrial, Aerospace and Marine sectors with the World’s highest performance, lowest weight and smallest package electric motors. This is role is critical to the long term success of the company. You will draw upon your experience of design for manufacture and assembly to help the company make the transition from low volume assembly to mass production. Get in touch!
